Shawna’s deep connection to the Flathead Valley stems from her roots in the area. Her grandparents owned the Evergreen Motel in Coram, just minutes from Glacier National Park. Shawna fondly remembers spending her summers helping her grandmother clean rooms and cabins, where she had the chance to interact with visitors from all over the world. It was during these early years that Shawna developed a love for hearing about why people cherished their time in the Flathead Valley.
Raised in Columbia Falls, Shawna attended and graduated from the local high school. From a young age, she took on leadership roles within her community, always eager to help and educate those around her. She was even appointed as a youth representative for the State of Montana’s Youth Caucus, where she traveled to speak at conventions, addressing critical issues like the gap between youth and adults, teen struggles, and teen suicide.
Shawna brings 18 years of experience in juvenile corrections and over 15 years as an active realtor. Recently retiring from corrections, she has returned full-time to her first professional passion—real estate. Shawna and her husband bought their first home at the age of 20 and began investing in rental properties at 23. This sparked a lifelong passion for real estate, which has grown to include flipping houses, new builds, and property development.
Shawna has extensive experience in both residential and commercial real estate. On the residential side, she has worked with clients ranging from first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors, helping them find properties that meet their unique needs. Her deep understanding of the local market, attention to detail, and dedication to her clients ensure that every transaction is handled with care. She also has significant experience navigating complex situations such as estate sales and divorce-related transactions, where a thoughtful, empathetic approach is crucial to supporting her clients through emotionally and legally challenging processes.
On the commercial side, Shawna’s experience includes helping businesses find the perfect locations for their ventures and working with investors on larger-scale property investments. She has a strong grasp of zoning regulations, commercial financing, and lease negotiations, allowing her to support her clients in making informed, strategic decisions that align with their business objectives. Her ability to navigate both residential and commercial real estate transactions makes Shawna a versatile and valuable resource for her clients.

Outside of work, Shawna enjoys spending time with family and friends in the great outdoors. She loves mountain biking, hiking, and especially enjoys time on the water.
